The Twin Anniversary Flagship Project

The Twin Anniversary Flagship ProjectBuilding a Legacy for Every Sakerette

EXSSA is committed to preserving the legacy of Saker Baptist College through impactful projects that benefit both the school and future generations of Sakerettes. Our flagship initiative—the Twin Anniversary Flagship Project—brings together alumni, partners, and public institutions to develop a lasting landmark, supported by strategic fundraising, architectural planning, and sustainable partnerships for long-term impact.

The Ex-Students’ Association of Saker Baptist College (EXSSA) believes that true alumni engagement extends beyond reunions—it is about building institutions, empowering students, and safeguarding the values that shaped us. Our projects unite thousands of Sakerettes across Cameroon and the diaspora around initiatives that deliver lasting educational, social, and community impact

Driven by one purpose: to preserve the heritage of Saker Baptist College while creating opportunities for future generations. Through strategic partnerships, alumni giving, and visionary leadership, we are investing in a legacy that will endure for decades

The Twin Anniversary Flagship Project

The Twin Anniversary Flagship Project is EXSSA’s most ambitious undertaking—a landmark development created to commemorate the college’s historic twin anniversary while providing a lasting asset for future generations. First adopted during the 2020 Annual General Meeting, the project has evolved through strategic planning, fundraising, architectural design, government collaboration, and technical evaluation into a fully prepared construction initiative.

Project Objectives

  • Preserve Heritage: Celebrate the rich history and enduring legacy of Saker Baptist College.
  • Support Future Students: Develop infrastructure and initiatives that directly benefit the next generation of Sakerettes.
  • Mobilize Alumni Giving: Build sustainable funding through alumni contributions, donors, and institutional partners.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Collaborate with government agencies, professionals, and development organizations for long-term impact.

These objectives were progressively refined through successive Annual General Meetings and formally adopted as the foundation of EXSSA’s flagship legacy strategy.

The General Assembly unanimously endorsed the Twin Anniversary Flagship Project as EXSSA’s landmark legacy initiative, establishing a shared vision for alumni worldwide.

EXSSA developed a comprehensive fundraising framework, identifying sustainable funding sources and securing broad alumni buy-in through its Legacy Strategy.

The Association broadened its funding approach to include donor organizations, development partners, and the Government of Cameroon while introducing professionally prepared project documentation.

Architects and structural engineers completed topographic surveys, conceptual designs, soil investigations, detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities—fully preparing the project for execution.

Following groundbreaking activities and approved funding support, EXSSA entered the final evaluation, site preparation, and tender stages ahead of effective construction.

Strategic Partnerships & Funding

EXSSA recognizes that transformational projects require collaborative leadership. The Association has worked alongside technical professionals, architects, engineers, government institutions, and development partners to secure funding and provide the expertise needed for successful implementation. This collaborative model ensures that every contribution—financial or technical—creates measurable value for Saker Baptist College.
